About the Business
Chuck Mellinger, owner of C & M Trophy Co, has been dedicated to providing creativity, collaboration, and customer service for over 19 years. Prior to that, he served in and was a civilian employee of the United States Coast Guard. Chuck is also a disabled Veteran. One day, he mentioned to the then-owner that if he ever wanted to sell, Chuck would be interested. This conversation eventually led to Chuck taking over the business in 2001. Chuck loves working with people and finds the awards and recognition business very fulfilling.
In his spare time, Chuck enjoys working with kids. He's been a member of the Lake City Western Vigilantes since 1993 and is currently serving as their Chief. The Vigilantes have a long history of raising money for children, dating all the way back to 1946. Chuck has also been active on the Board of the Eagle State Youth Convention, where he serves as the Trophy Chair, and has been the Past Eagle State Convention Chairman. The Eagles Convention takes place every June and is the only one of its kind in Washington State.
Chuck and his wife Lynda are both retired from the La Senorita Drill Team, which their daughter joined when she was just nine years old. They were both very active in the team for over 20 years, with Chuck serving as President for 13 years and Lynda on the Board for 13 years as Treasurer.
