Jim Dickerson
Jim Dickerson Company is a family-run business from Charlotte and its surrounding areas. Jim, originally from Charlotte, was taught the plumbing trade by his father-in-law, Chester H. Creed, and worked with him for many years before starting his own company.
In 1977, Jim and his wife Judy founded Jim Dickerson Plumbing, which began as a one truck operation. Over time, due to customer demand, they added Electrical and Heating and Air divisions to their services. Today, they have a large fleet of service vehicles ready to serve customers.
In 2005, they moved to their current 11,000 square foot facility, which includes a 7,000 square foot warehouse that allows them to store commonly used parts, water heaters, fixtures, and equipment, helping them to provide prompt service even after normal business hours or on weekends.
Jim's daughters, Debbie and Angie, joined the company after college, and they now manage the day-to-day operations, including Customer Service, Sales and Marketing, and Accounting.
