LESC started out with Joseph Foti, his brother, and his long time friend Valerica Deaconu. The trio began doing small jobs in the neighborhood, and slowly started to grow and acquire larger and larger jobs. After 20 years they have become the leader in apartment renovations on the Lower East Side.
