About the Business
Two years ago, my family and I moved to a new area. I quickly developed a strong interest in French provincial and antique furniture items. I purchased quite a few pieces, and was lucky enough to meet some women who knew the trade and were kind enough to teach me a few things. The rest I taught myself from my experiences working at AUSKRAFT in the past. At the store, I was a Master Stain Artist and had the opportunity to gain an extensive knowledge on all types of woods, since all the furniture was sold ‘naked’ and customers could choose the stain shade or paint colors that they wanted. It was my grandmother who first sparked my interest in restoration, as she left me her antique dressing table which needed repair.
For me, there is nothing more satisfying than taking something old and battered, and restoring it to its former beauty. My favorite thing to do is custom furniture painting, where I get to use my imagination and bring my ideas to life. I also enjoy restoration of antique furniture, which you can see pictures of on my website. Thanks for your interest!

- When we moved here a year and a half ago, I loved distressed french provincial and shabby chic furniture. Bought a lot of it, got to know ladies who knew the trade and they were lovely enough to teach me a few things. The rest I taught myself.
