Donworth Event Center

Donworth Hall is a beautiful event hall and gym located in San Francisco's Lakeside district. We share unlimited parking with Stonestown mall and are just a 3 minute walk from Muni's M line and 17 line. This new hall is approximately 20,000 square feet (gym and hall combined) and can accommodate up to 200 persons seated and 400 persons standing. Prices are extremely competitive and negotiable for all budgets. A few notable features of the Hall are: -Ample space to set up a dance floor -A Kitchen -A snack bar with refrigerator (great place to set up a bar). -Elevated stage with backstage prepping rooms -Elevator -Top level entrance with beautiful decor (a great area to set up signing in tables) Donworth Hall is perfect for all occasions, whether they be wedding receptions, banquets, fundraising, dances, birthdays, and everything else you can think of! We offer hourly rates and full-day packages. Bookings can start as early as 8:00 am and go until 11:00 pm. If you book until midnight, please note that all events end at 11:00 pm, bars close at 10:00 pm and clients have until Midnight to vacate the facility. Loretta grew up in an entrepreneurial home. Her father owned a drugstore and a laundromat while also working as a Precinct Captain for the (in)famous Chicago Mayor, Richard J Daley. She never considered an entrepreneurial future for herself as her mother was adamant that she would go to college and even graduate school so that she could land a great job, be independent and in control of her own finances and future. She heeded her mother's advice and received a B.S. of Science degree from Howard University in Washington, DC, began her corporate journey in Chicago, working for such corporate giants at Sears Headquarters  (when it WAS a giant) as an Office Manger, Computer Programmer, Market Research Manager, moving on to Continental Illinois National Bank (now Bank Of America) as a commercial banker, Kraft Foods, Apple Computer, Sega of America, DreamWorks in HR leadership roles, then on to a couple of Silicon Valley startups as a VP of HR.  Throughout the early career years, she held sales positions in a few businesses, then launched her consulting firm in May 2000.

Luke's Lawn And Landscaping offers a variety of lawn care services for our customers. We provide mowing, trimming, edging of sidewalks and driveways, fertilization and weed control, core aerating, dethatching, overseeding, and fertilizer programs. Our fertilizer program can provide the proper fertilizer, weed control, grub control, and insect control that is tailored to your individual lawn needs. We also offer irrigation maintenance and shut down services. This includes system startup and testing, backflow test and mandatory filing, system shutdown, maintenance, and repairs. We can help reduce water runoff, improve fertilizer and nutrient uptake, increase air and soil exchange, reduce compaction, and allow for deeper root structure with our core aerating services. We can also provide dethatching services which involves mechanically raking the lawn, bagging up the thatch, and hauling away. This should be done early in the spring before the grass starts to grow.In addition, we provide landscape maintenance such as spring and fall cleanups, top dressing of mulch beds, trimming of perennials and shrubs, and leaf removal. We are able to install plant beds, edging, plants, mulch, rock, and lighting as part of our landscaping services. We also do holiday lights and hardscapes such as paver patios, retaining walls, boulder walls, and fire pits. We provide these services with our mobile unit dispatched to locations.
