Lone Star Mansion
Lone Star Mansion is a unique facility that has created unforgettable memories for people all over the world. It features a grand double winding staircase with ornate moldings throughout the house. The mansion has been featured on global television such as Platinum Weddings and Bling the Bride on the WE channel, and NBC5 Throws a Wedding taped a live wedding there. The mansion sits on 18 acres, complete with a gazebo, courtyard, and 9 foot brick privacy wall for outside ceremonies or receptions. There is also a glass cathedral for indoor events. A pond with an ornate gazebo and matching bridge can be utilized for outdoor ceremonies. The groom and his party can make use of the man cave which features a 73 inch HDTV, ornate bar, pool table, dressing room with double shower, sauna and steam room. The bride and her party have the upstairs with several bedrooms to get ready in. They too can enjoy the man cave. Our 4,000 square feet of indoor event space is enhanced by its vaulted ceilings, dramatic arched windows, and a beautiful hardwood movable dance floor. North Hall offers 3,500 square feet of outdoor space adjacent to the North Hall for ceremonies, cocktail receptions, and more. We also have 800 square feet of outdoor space used by caterers as an extension of the small Catering Kitchen and 200 square feet of covered outdoor space configured with electrical outlets for receptions, lounges, and more. The Obici House
The Obici House is a picturesque event venue located at the end of a tree-lined driveway, providing an exquisite view of Sleepy Hole Golf Course and the Nansemond River. This luxurious property features chandeliers, columns, stained glass windows, and hardwood floors, perfect for private events for up to 150 people indoors and 350 people outdoors.
