- After 7 years of being a soldier, my wife and I decided it was better for our growing family to settle down in one place. We decided on Jacksonville due to the many family ties we both shared with the area. Even as a soldier, I had always had an interest in real estate. I was lucky enough to have an excellent mentor that put me on the path to success. Early on, our goal was to move quickly and work as much territory as possible.
