I am a qualified paralegal, offering cost-effective clerical paralegal services to attorneys. My services include research, formatting documents, transcription, proofreading, printing, document retrieval and filing.
Between 2012 and 2015, I was employed under the guidance of lawyer David Morgan, Esq. During this time, we worked on civil rights litigation, filing lawsuits against government agents in their official and personal capacities for injunctions and financial recompense. My duties included conducting investigations, securing affidavits, drafting pleadings, such as complaints, responses, counterclaims, motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss, motions to quash service, motions to strike, motions to compel, motions for attorney’s fees, motions in limine, notices of removal and motions to remand. I also conducted discovery (interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admissions, deposition summaries, preparation for depositions and motions to compel discovery). Once all parties had made their statements, I prepared responses and objections to motions filed by the opposing side, until the final settlement agreement or direct appeal.
