- I started restoring and refinishing furniture, antiques as a hobby around 22yrs ago. Internet wasn't around and help groups you could ask experts for advice back then. I learned by trial and error. This was my hobby and passion I did while being a wife, working and raising 2 sons. After a severe back injury, I lost my good paying job and my marriage. I decided to take my skills to the next level and do something I never thought I would do, start my own business doing something I love.
