The Mexican Heritage Plaza is a vibrant, multi-purpose center located in San Jose. It provides an array of services and experiences, from large-scale events to educational activities. Its mission is to provide a space for cultural and artistic expression, creating opportunities for engagement within the greater community. The Plaza is home to the School of Arts and Culture as well as performing companies such as Los Lupeños de San José and Calpulli Tonalehqueh. Since 1914, the Mount Baker Community Club has been home to celebrations and gatherings in historic Seattle. Our building offers an open Ballroom, a large conference room, two kitchens and more. Our rental rates are affordable, including set up and take down of all chairs and tables, use of the kitchen, and basic janitorial services. Clarkston Community Center

Clarkston Community Center is a venue for special events and celebrations. It features a grand ballroom, a large event room, a meeting or party room, and an outdoor field with gazebos. The main ballroom holds 420 reception-style or 195 seated guests, while the other rooms accommodate 189 and 90 respectively. The ballroom has stunning architectural beams and refinished hardwood floors, making it perfect for an elegant affair. The other rooms have recessed lighting and floor to ceiling windows. The outdoor field is almost one acre, with newly resodded grass, gazebos and restrooms. Diastole

Diastole Scholars' Center is a non-profit organization established by Dr. E. Grey Dimond and Mary Clark Dimond to provide UMKC with various activities such as retreats, recitals, lectures, continuing education, committee and staff meetings, journal clubs, reunions, study groups, luncheons, dinners, and University social gatherings. Additionally, this center offers limited services to non-University groups for scholarly, educational, civic and community enhancing events. The Diastole Scholars' Center has a full range of resources and experienced staff to fulfill its mission of providing UMKC with excellent experiences and activities. They are dedicated to cultivating an atmosphere that fosters learning, growth, and community engagement. Furthermore, they are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment free from discrimination. This organization is not available for any personal social events such as weddings or birthday parties.

The Cedar Cultural Center

The Cedar Cultural Center, referred to as The Cedar, is a non-profit performing arts organization and all-ages music venue that presents local, national, and global music. Its mission is to promote intercultural understanding through music and dance performances. The Cedar is located in the diverse Cedar Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and has become well-known for its variety of musical genres, such as roots, folk, indie, experimental, bluegrass, Americana, blues, and more. The Cedar is dedicated to upholding artistic excellence and integrity, diversity of programming, helping emerging artists, and engaging with the community. It is the only venue of its kind in the Midwest, and hosts around 200 events each year, such as live music concerts, educational programs, workshops, films, dances, comedy, spoken word, and more. Established in 1989, The Cedar operates in a building that was constructed as a movie theater in 1948. Furthermore, it has programs like the Cedar Commissions, a local artist commissioning series; the Global Roots Festival, an annual free world music festival; and Midnimo, a program that presents Somali artists in month-long residencies all over Minnesota.
