- What began as a cottage industry in the home of owners Josh Blanc and Layl McDill, Clay Squared soon outgrew its small third floor studio. We moved to Central Avenue and became Clay Squared to Infinity, in what was once a neighborhood bar in Northeast Minneapolis. After four successful years on Central Avenue, it was time again to increase square footage and gain a stronger foothold in the newly formed Northeast Arts District. So, on January 1, 2004, Clay Squared to Infinity moved into The Keg House, once part of the Grain Belt Brewery complex, and now home to several arts-related businesses. It is in the Keg House that the talented artists of Clay Squared are able to further explore the ceramic arts and create beautiful works.
