Sodo Pop
Sodo Pop is an event space with no catering restrictions, making it both unique and cost-effective. The room comes complete with a bar, kitchenette, PA sound system, dance floor, air-conditioning and a disco ball. It officially accommodates ninety-nine people and there are additional spaces such as an overflow hall, a small VIP room and a balcony outside. You can either rent the venue flat rate for DIY events, or opt for the hosted plan which allows your guests to contribute to cover expenses. This includes an open bar, staff, ticketing, taxes and licenses, with the exception of a $10 banquet permit. Any leftover money can be used for catering, entertainment, food and decorations. The typical per person rate is between twenty and twenty-five dollars. Take advantage of the low rates while the building undergoes a seismic retrofit.
