The Wright House

At The Wright House, we offer two distinct options for weddings and special events. Our formal Victorian English Garden boasts gazebos, scented floral beds, a vine-covered verandah, and a large ballroom, while our Southern French Garden adds rustic charm with a country French Inn atmosphere and inviting decks among mature trees and illuminated fountains. Sodo Pop

Sodo Pop is an event space with no catering restrictions, making it both unique and cost-effective. The room comes complete with a bar, kitchenette, PA sound system, dance floor, air-conditioning and a disco ball. It officially accommodates ninety-nine people and there are additional spaces such as an overflow hall, a small VIP room and a balcony outside. You can either rent the venue flat rate for DIY events, or opt for the hosted plan which allows your guests to contribute to cover expenses. This includes an open bar, staff, ticketing, taxes and licenses, with the exception of a $10 banquet permit. Any leftover money can be used for catering, entertainment, food and decorations. The typical per person rate is between twenty and twenty-five dollars. Take advantage of the low rates while the building undergoes a seismic retrofit.

Community Gardens

Community Gardens is a unique destination that has it all! This collection of locally-grown businesses works together to provide a one-stop shop for all your needs. From an authentic Mexican food restaurant to a specialty coffee shop and cold pressed juice bar, you can find everything you need in this greenhouse farm. In addition, you can find a plant nursery, inflatable park with playscapes for kids, and outdoor event space with a bar serving adult beverages. Various special events are also held throughout the year. Chowgirls at Solar Arts

Chowgirls at Solar Arts is an event space filled with character and charm. This 6,500 square foot space features stunningly preserved industrial architecture, including factory doors, wooden beams, and hardwood floors. An 8-foot carved wooden bar, formerly owned by singer Johnny Cash, adds to the beauty of the space. Del Mar Social is an open-air event space with custom bar and outdoor seating, located in Mar Vista. With a capacity of 200, we offer 10 tables, 30 chairs, barstools, Wifi, and free parking.
