The Abbott House
The Abbott House offers a wonderful venue for your wedding. With two to five staff assistants to help with setup, working the event and cleaning up afterwards, you can be assured that everything will run smoothly. The bride and groom suites come with champagne and fruit, and the first floor of the house can be used for a cocktail hour or tour. The formal banquet room is equipped with seven chandeliers, surround sound, a granite bar with an ice maker and refrigerator, and 13 floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the outdoors inside. Tables and chairs are provided, as well as floor-length white or ivory tablecloths for the banquet room. Outside, there is a private courtyard with 13 flower gardens, a sound system, a water fountain, an outside granite bar with a sink and refrigerator, a gas fire ring, a bandstand, a dance floor, a gazebo, and landscape lighting. Additionally, indoor and outdoor air conditioning restrooms are available. We also have a planner/coordinator on staff and the venue can be opened for rehearsals and photos with appropriate notice. We offer rental packages for 50 and 100 guests, with additional guests at a rate of $20 each. Rental includes time from 11am to 11pm, and all amenities. Outside vendors may also be brought in if desired. The Abbott House has a 1940 classic Packard with chauffeur available for rent. Claret Hall
Claret Hall is a great venue for all sorts of events and meetings, conveniently located in Clarksville, MD, near Columbia and with easy access from routes 32, 108 and I-95. The Banquet Room holds up to 95 people when seated for dining and allows access to a full kitchen and patio. If you're hosting a more casual event that requires some standing and sitting, the maximum capacity doubles to 130. Tables and chairs will be ready to go based on your floor plan in advance of your arrival. The Meeting Room, a separate building nearby, provides a self-serve casual atmosphere ideal for kid's parties or classes at an affordable rate. You can arrange the tables and chairs however you like, or hire our staff to do it for an additional fee. The Meeting Room also has a small kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and sink. Instructors can take advantage of special rates for hosting classes or seminars at Claret Hall. You can choose your own caterer or bring your own food.

The Owen Brown Interfaith Center (OBIC) is a magnificent place for spiritual, educational and social gatherings. It serves as a platform for people of all faiths and backgrounds to come together in celebration and growth. Located in Columbia, Maryland, OBIC provides the perfect environment for meetings, events and special occasions. OBIC offers rental facilities for a variety of purposes, including religious events, business meetings, weddings and receptions, birthday parties, graduation festivities, baby showers, worship services, seminars and classes, private parties, banquets and more. We have two large Meeting Halls, one Conference Room, and several smaller meeting rooms that can be rented for an array of purposes.
