This is Mis Fit Press, a unique letterpress print shop located on the third floor of a former silk factory building in Union City, NJ. We provide custom printing services to customers all around the United States, with the majority being located in the New York City area. Our business cards stand out due to the unusual papers that we use, such as those from cereal boxes, chipboard, ram board, real wood, and black paper stock. - Started in 1986 as an outdoor flea market printer with a small hand press in upper west side of Manhattan. Letterpress Printing! Hand set metal type! Customers were able to watch the whole process from beginning to end: typesetting to actual production to completion. Now in an old silk factory building in Union City, NJ, I run the whole gamut: business cards, invitations, announcements, hang tags, using the old equipment.
