G&G Structures

We provide structural engineering consulting services for a broad range of building structures and building components. We are a small firm that is sensitive to our clients' needs and understand the personal touch that is often required in our business.  This holds true whether a homeowner seeks our design services for their home or a lending institution requests an evaluation for an investment property. Our mission is to take complex problems and develop simple designs solutions that are practical and easy to build. G&G Structures' senior engineer has designed seismic retrofits for soft-weak story (open front wall line buildings since the 1994 Northridge Earthquake. We designed and evaluated over a hundred buildings before mandatory provisions per the City of Los Angeles ordinance 183893.  Property owners, lenders, and insurance underwriters have relied on G&G Structures for the past 20 years for multi-family buildings.  G&G Structures will carefully evaluate the building to develop the most cost efficient solution.  Each building is unique and requires a unique solution.  Some buildings can be retrofitted with new conventional shear walls or pre-manufactured shear wall panels and yet others will require a steel moment frame or a cantilevered column (flagpole). G&G Structures can develop as-built drawings for design, engineer a solution, and assist with the permit process for our clients.

Gabriel E Senor

Gabriel E. Senor Consulting Engineer and Surveyor was founded in 1954 by Gabriel E. Senor, P.E., L.S. It was a full service consulting engineering and surveying firm that specialized in site development. During his tenure as town engineer for several local towns, Gabriel completed municipal work and private projects such as shopping centers and homes. In 1984, his son Eliot Senor took over the business. Gabriel retired in 1994. Eliot graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College in the same year. He holds the license of professional engineer, land surveyor and home energy rater. Eliot began working in the company in 1975 as a survey aide, and was promoted to party chief in 1980. He then became project engineer and officer manager. In 1995, he became the president of Gabriel E. Senor, P.C. During his time as president, Eliot has supervised various works of the company.
