Our mission is to provide an accessible and affordable venue for people to view his iconic black and white portraits of icons of the era, as well as his captivating photos of New Orleans and Mardi Gras in the 1950s. We are located in New York City and offer a spacious 2,500 square foot venue across two floors that can accommodate up to 250 guests. Derbès Mansion
The Derbès Mansion provides an iconic New Orleans location for events of up to 200 guests. We offer the entire 19th century landmark house and its park-like gardens for wedding receptions, parties, and corporate functions. Our rental includes the parlors, dining room, central hallways (up and down), balconies and galleries (both front and rear), the salon rooms upstairs and the kitchen - all available for your caterer. As a special dressing and preparation space for the bride, we include the Grand Benachi Suite, and its adjoining bath, upstairs; and for the groom, the Private Groom's Room and its adjoining bath, downstairs. We also provide four rest rooms. You can choose to have your event indoors, outdoors, or both. Up to 200 guests can enjoy the patio and gardens, or be comfortably contained in the house.
