Mary Westman is a registered nurse from Oklahoma with more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare field. After being accepted to the state bar in September 2015, she worked in executive, clinical and operational roles where she engaged in various quality improvement projects with hospital staff. During her career, Mary served as Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Compliance Officer, and Assistant Vice President of Quality Improvement.

Mary attended Dabney S. Lancaster Community College in Clifton Forge, Virginia, for her Associate Degree in Nursing. She earned a Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa, and later received a Masters Degree in Business Administration and Healthcare Services Management from Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Mary was honored with a Juris Doctor Degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law, graduating with honors as a merit scholar and among the top 5% of her class. She was also awarded the CALI Excellence Award in Legal Research and Writing, and is a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Fraternity and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.

Mary is an active participant of the Oklahoma Bar Association; she is part of the Law Schools Committee and Disaster Response & Relief Committee. She currently works at Mary Westman Law, where she specializes in equine and horse industry law.
