About the Business
The Harrison County Discovery Center is a family-oriented destination that combines fun and education. We are committed to fostering an understanding of the county’s significance in the development of Indiana. Visitors will be able to explore the interactive galleries, take a tour of the cave system, and view a 360° video reenactment of the Battle of Corydon—one of the few Civil War battles to take place north of the Mason-Dixon Line. Our hands-on activities will give guests a chance to learn about Indiana’s beginnings in an exciting and immersive way. At the Harrison County Discovery Center, you can expect an exceptional experience!

- The Harrison County Discovery opened on Halloween of 2016. We are on the same site as the first jail that was built in Harrison County in 1809. With Indiana's first state capitol building right across the street we are a great place to start your visit of our historical town!
