The Museum of Craft and Design (MCD) develops and presents engaging exhibitions and educational programs that explore and define the role of craft and design in our dynamically changing global culture, encouraging our audience to see the world differently. The MCD Store is located inside our front doors on 2569 Third Street, San Francisco, CA 94107.  We have many items in our in-person store that we do not post online, so please visit in person. The Cedar Cultural Center

The Cedar Cultural Center, referred to as The Cedar, is a non-profit performing arts organization and all-ages music venue that presents local, national, and global music. Its mission is to promote intercultural understanding through music and dance performances. The Cedar is located in the diverse Cedar Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and has become well-known for its variety of musical genres, such as roots, folk, indie, experimental, bluegrass, Americana, blues, and more. The Cedar is dedicated to upholding artistic excellence and integrity, diversity of programming, helping emerging artists, and engaging with the community. It is the only venue of its kind in the Midwest, and hosts around 200 events each year, such as live music concerts, educational programs, workshops, films, dances, comedy, spoken word, and more. Established in 1989, The Cedar operates in a building that was constructed as a movie theater in 1948. Furthermore, it has programs like the Cedar Commissions, a local artist commissioning series; the Global Roots Festival, an annual free world music festival; and Midnimo, a program that presents Somali artists in month-long residencies all over Minnesota.

Phoenix Art Museum

Phoenix Art Museum has provided access to visual arts and educational programs in Arizona for 60 years and is the largest art museum in the Southwestern United States. Each year, more than 300,000 guests engage with critically acclaimed national and international exhibitions and the Museum's collection of more than 20,000 works of American and Western American, Asian, European, Latin American, modern and contemporary art, and fashion design. The Museum also presents vibrant photography exhibitions made possible through the Museum's landmark partnership with the Center for Creative Photography, University of Arizona. The Museum is open Wednesday-Sunday and open to the public with voluntary-donation admission during the First Friday of every month from 3-7 pm and every Wednesday from 3-7 pm. Palette Restaurant is open. The Lemon Research Library is closed at this time.

Lake Katherine Nature Center & Botanic Gardens

Lake Katherine Nature Center & Botanic Gardens is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization located in Palos Heights, IL. Managed by the organization, the park offers 6 miles of trails and educational displays with live animal exhibits. It also hosts special events and educational programs for children throughout the year. The park is great for families and offers a variety of experiences for all ages. Visitors can explore the scenic trail around the lake and waterfall, or attend special events like holiday celebrations and educational programs. With activities running all year long, Lake Katherine Nature Center & Botanic Gardens is the ideal place for nature lovers to explore.
