About the Business
Robyn Schmitt has been involved in the business of real estate for many years. She started working at the young age of 13, riding her bike to her job on the weekends. By 15, she had her first car and started in sales. During her senior year of high school, she was working full-time as a sales manager in a women's clothing store.
Robyn then decided to go to college and began her new career in construction sales. She worked with contractors bidding on new construction residential properties and helping consumers with retail renovations, such as millwork packages, windows, door units, stairways, custom-made items, and stain glass pieces.
Five years later, she moved into residential real estate investments. This included rental property, buying, selling, and building new construction. Robyn has owned properties both in the US and abroad, from Dominical, Costa Rica to New Orleans, Metairie, Port Sulphur, Louisiana, Pensacola Beach, Florida, Pass Christian and Picayune, Mississippi, and Austin, Texas. She has bought and sold over 26 properties - 5 of which were new construction and 1 from developing raw land into subdivided lots.
After 20 years of experience, Robyn has decided to get her real estate license and is now working with HomeSmart Realty to help others achieve their major decisions in the complex business of real estate.
