- I began my career in the early 1980s in Manhattan , New York apprenticing the Late renowned muralist Robert Jackson. During that time I helped paint enormous cloud ceilings, Faux mahogany elevator doors, faux limestone block walls, faux marble columns, walls, and floors. You name it and I painted it. I even had the amazing opportunity to assist painting two permanent historical rooms in the Early American wing of the metropolitan Museum of Art. After a several years of apprenticing Mr. Jackson I moved to the southeast while still retaining a residence in New York as well as my work relationship with Mr Jackson. I ventured into my own career as a faux finish painter and have been beautifying private residences as well as commercial spaces ever since.
