Amy was born in Iowa City, Iowa and learned the value of hard work and treating others with kindness. She graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida and went on to be a flight instructor at Fort Campbell and Columbus, Georgia. Later, she became a cargo pilot in the Southeast. In 2002, she gained her real estate license in Savannah, Georgia. For 17 years, she worked for big name builders in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina such as Centex, Pulte/Del Webb, and K. Hovnanian Luxury Homes.
Amy has consistently been a multi-million dollar producer throughout good and bad market conditions. After a brief pause from aviation, she achieved a position as a first officer for American Airlines out of Dallas, Texas. There, she met her husband Jay Wade, and the two have since moved to Oklahoma in 2019 to make it their home.
