- My grandfather, Bill Thompson Sr. started Thompson and Sons Heating back in the 1940's after WWII. My dad, Gene Thompson bought the company when Bill Sr. retired in 1982 and in 1997, we sold that company to a large nation-wide heating and air conditioning service company. In 2005, when dad retired, I resigned my position as general manager of Thompson and Sons and started Thompson's Comfort Connection. I'm the 3rd generation of the Thompson family in this business and 2 of my sons also work in the our business. I've been working in the heating and air conditioning business since the age of 14, and have been continuously working in the industry since 1981. I also have a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Utah which gives me deeper insight into how heating and cooling systems work most efficiently and effectively. I look forward to working with you and helping solve your heating and air conditioning needs.
