- Symons Fire Protection, Inc. was founded in 1994 by David B. Symons, who remained President of the company until his passing in 2008. After Dave's passing, Tod Emery transitioned from the role of Vice President to President, which he dutifully executed for 11 years. Upon Tod's retirement in 2019, current President Jamil Shamoon stepped up to lead Symons toward a bright future - a process that continues today. We strive to carry out the same levels of quality, service and care that Dave Symons instilled in our corporate culture. This vision makes Symons a premier fire sprinkler contractor in the San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles.
