I have always been a very organized individual, but it wasn't until recently that I started helping out friends and family with decluttering and organizing their own spaces. This was when I realized how such simple changes to one's physical environment can lead to much greater transformation in their lives. For the last six years, I have been an event planner, working on everything from team happy hours to weddings to festivals of 10,000 people. However, due to the impact COVID-19 had on the industry, I have now decided to make my passion for organization a full-time job.
Organizing has many similarities to event planning. When I am working on creating a functional space, I take into account the flow of the home, as well as its form, function and aesthetics. What I find most rewarding, however, is seeing the changes that come about in my clients because of this transformation. They tell me they are sleeping better, have more respect for themselves and are performing better at work. It is this possibility of transformation that motivates me every day.
