With regard home insurance, Erie Insurance offers guaranteed dwelling replacement cost - this means that there is no cap on what Erie would pay to rebuild the dwelling. This is a unique feature that few other companies provide. On the home insurance Erie also offers underground service line coverage and earthquake coverage. Many insurance companies simply don't offer these coverages, which means that if an earthquake were to occur and cause damage you would not be covered.
Both Erie Insurance and Progressive also offer rideshare insurance in Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
