I specialize in repairing localized scratches, gouges, divots and chips on a wide variety of hard flooring including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, ceramic and engineered flooring. I use high-quality German wax fillers, lacquers and other quality products to complete all repairs.
For the last 6+ years, I have been working in the floor refinishing industry. I specialize in repairing wear and tear damage, including scratches and gouges in baseboards and quarterrounds that have been chipped or damaged. What sets me apart from other refinishers is that the deeper the damage, the better the repair. My process allows the wax to have more surface area to cool and bond with after application.
Most other refinshers will tell you to replace boards because the scratches are too deep or that you need to sand the entire room. They may even try to upsell you, telling you that there isn't enough depth left to sand your floor and you must replace the entire floor instead of just the damaged boards. - 2017 I worked as field supervisor for a floor refinishing company, the basic process of the service was a deep cleaning with a buffing machine and 3-5 coats of urethane. It was a great maintenance service for many floor types and great for clients who were not ready to sand but still wanted their floor cleaned up or didn't want to pay the costs of sanding. Working as the supervisor I was coming into contact with customers asking about repairing deep scratches and gouging, at the time we only did deep cleaning, color blending and resurfacing, damage repair wasn't something I could offer. And these customers wanted more done than just having someone apply putty on it. So that's where the idea for my business came from, most refinishers will tell you replacement is the only option for many things or that there isn't enough depth to sand the floor so the damage isn't correctable. My service specializes in these repairs and saves customers thousands in refinishing and replacement costs.
