Since 1946 The Bar Association of San Francisco's award winning, non-profit Lawyer Referral and Information Service (LRIS). Provided the public with referrals to qualified attorneys whose experience is reviewed. Our multilingual legal interviewers carefully and thoughtfully screen each call and email inquiry. Determine the best avenue of assistance for the client. In addition to providing referrals in over 100 areas of the law, the LRIS makes referrals to more than 250 community, government, and social service agencies for answers to questions about the law. We are certified by the State Bar of California and nationally recognized as a model lawyer referral program by the American Bar Association. African American Art & Culture Complex

Our mission, as a community based non-profit 501c3 arts and cultural organization, is to nurture and facilitate the empowerment of our community through Afro-centric artistic and cultural expression, mediums, education, and programming.   We pursue these objectives through arts and cultural programming by which our organization hopes to inspire children and youth to serve as agents of change while simultaneously cultivating their leadership skills and fostering a commitment to community service and activism. Mexican Heritage Plaza

The Mexican Heritage Plaza is a vibrant, multi-purpose center located in San Jose. It provides an array of services and experiences, from large-scale events to educational activities. Its mission is to provide a space for cultural and artistic expression, creating opportunities for engagement within the greater community. The Plaza is home to the School of Arts and Culture as well as performing companies such as Los Lupeños de San José and Calpulli Tonalehqueh. The facility includes a 500-capacity Theater, Pavilion, Plaza, five Classrooms, Galeria, Dance Studio, and Gardens. It can be used to host private, community, and non-profit events, including City and Community Cultural Events, Los Lupeños and School’s Dance Recitals, Arrangetrums, Quinceañeras, Weddings, Festivals, Conferences and more.
