About the Business
Daniel J Brown, CPA has been providing tax preparation, tax planning and financial services for 25 years. Founded by Dan Brown, the firm's mission is to advise clients on a variety of tax and financial matters including business start-ups, divorce, estate issues, retirement and college planning. Dan aims to help clients make informed decisions to avoid overpaying taxes. He works to build lasting relationships with clients, many of whom have been returning since the firm began and those who move away continue to use his services, even in foreign countries.
Prior to founding the firm, Dan worked as a controller at a NYSE listed company and held a position at a large national accounting firm. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees from The Ohio State University.

Near Oakbrook Shopping Center in Oakbrook Terrace, the firm is convenient to all of the Chicago metropolitan area and clients come from as far away as Wisconsin and Indiana. The firm is especially easy to get to from nearby communities such as Elmhurst, Hinsdale, Oak Brook, Lombard, Villa Park, and Willowbrook. Appointment times fill quickly during tax season. Schedule early to avoid disappointment.
