Queen Bee's
Queen Bee's Art & Cultural Center is an incredible place in North Park that is devoted to supporting local artists, dancers, performers, and all members of the San Diego Community! Every week there are a number of different events. On Sunday nights, there are Bachata and Salsa lessons and dances from 7:30 PM till midnight. Monday night is Soulercize - Soul Line Dance Class. Tuesday night is Lyrical Exchange - Weekly Open Mic Night from 8:00 till 11:00. Wednesday night is East Coast Swing Dance Lessons and Dance 7:30 till Midnight. Finally, on Thursdays, there is Elevated Poetry Open Mic (on the first and third Thursdays). Queen Bee's is also available for private parties and corporate events. They can host company dinners and parties, luncheons and matinees (great for non-profits!), birthday and anniversary parties, holiday parties, client entertaining, wedding receptions, and charity fundraisers. Club 27 is an event venue located in downtown Little Rock's River Market District. It can be rented for private functions, and it hosts salsa dancing nights on Tuesdays and Fridays. During these nights, a one hour lesson is offered, which does not require any prior knowledge or partner. After that, the evening is filled with tropical rhythms like salsa, bachata, merengue, cumbia, and reggaeton.
