After travelling around West Texas in the Great Depression, the Shanks family moved to Austin to try out the retail end of the market.
Now, almost 70 years later, the Shanks family has grown to operate in the Austin, San Antonio, and Houston markets, with over 300,000 square feet of retail showroom space catering to higher-end consumers.
