Texas Discovery Gardens is a 7.5 acre organic garden offering native and adapted plants. Our mission is to provide educational experiences that encourage the exploration of natural ecosystems and eco-friendly methods.
Our two-story Rosine Smith Sammons Butterfly House & Insectarium gives visitors a glimpse into a tropical rainforest, complete with hundreds of butterflies. There's also our Natural Playscape for kids and the Snakes of Texas exhibit, where you can see native snakes up close.
