Shoestring Press is a Crown Heights-based fine art print shop and arts space which offers membership to artists and the local community. Our mission is to provide work space, technical expertise, gallery exhibitions, critical engagement and intellectual community with minimal resources. We provide courses in printmaking, painting, and drawing, open figure drawing nights, and exhibitions focusing on experimental approaches to printmaking. In addition, we offer fine art printing services in collaboration with master printer Lane Sell. We strive to bring meaningful experiences to our members and the public.
