WorkshopSF is a DIY school passionate about teaching adults how to do things themselves. We provide a wide variety of classes, from single classes for those preferring flexibility to bootcamp style classes for those wanting to go in-depth into specific crafts. Our courses cover everything from watercolor to tie-dye, leatherworking to block printing and macrame to terrarium making. We also offer team building activities, corporate event planning and private events. Come learn something new and explore your creativity!
We want to give our students the best possible learning experience. Our classes are designed to be informative and fun - we strive to make sure everyone leaves with a greater understanding and appreciation of their chosen craft. Our instructors are experienced and knowledgeable, providing you with the guidance and support you need to become an expert. The Framer's Workshop
The Framer's Workshop is a family run custom and do-it-yourself picture framing shop located in Berkeley, CA, serving the San Francisco Bay Area since 1977. We specialize in fine custom framing, do-it-yourself framing, photo restoration and large format printing. We offer commercial onsite design, delivery, and installation for businesses, designers and volume residential clients. We welcome wholesale accounts for art consultation and framing services. We also offer ready-made frames with DIY fitting at The Framer's Outlet, a ready made frame shop directly connected to our main store.

We have many items in our in-person store that we do not post online, so please visit in person. MCD is the ideal location for your next creative meeting, mixer or reception. Our services and support cater to international students, helping them to make the most of their U.S. experience while making the most of their University of California Berkeley education. We offer graffiti, street art, and hip hop team building workshops which are hands on and culturally engaging for your next team outing. We host our workshops everyday in our San Francisco (1000 Howard St) and can bring our activities to you (please inquire for details and costs). Check out our website for our standard package offerings which are 2.5 hours long. The cost for the Graffiti Workshop, Street Art workshop, and Golden Era of Hip Hop Workshop ranges from $65 - $78pp depending on workshop size and selection. All of our workshops have a customizable collaborative art experience to make the event and vision uniquely yours.
Hunt & Gather
HUNT & GATHER (H&G) is a Creative Event Space for Private Events and Experiences. We also offer Community Seasonal Workshops, Pop-ups, and Art Shows. Located in the Inner Sunset neighborhood of San Francisco, H&G supports local artists, artisans, and businesses by giving them a platform to showcase their work and connect with their community. H&G's goal is to provide an opportunity for local artists and makers to gain experience, test products, and receive business and marketing consulting. H&G benefits the neighborhood by providing events rich in art and culture. The space is transformed every season featuring new art, and different workshops, pop-ups, community events, and gatherings that celebrate the season, culture, and local business through art, design, food, and wellness. H&G is also perfect for private events, networking events and meetings. Their Weekend POP SHOP is now open every Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM-6 PM and features local art and makers creations such as jewelry, beauty products, and pantry items perfect for unique handcrafted gifts.
