- Louise Dawson is the principal of Five Star Restaurant Consultants. She has owned and operated two successful Bay Area restaurants and a large catering company that specialized in the movie industry. After selling her last restaurant in 2004, she was asked to help launch a restaurant program, at the San Francisco Small Business Development Center to provide seminars and education for startup restaurateurs as well as one-on-one consulting services. In 2007, Louise launched Five Star Restaurant Consultants to be able to provide more hands-on services to restaurateurs. Louise is an operations specialist and can provide systems such as inventory or food costing to help restaurants be more profitable. Five Star also owns a convention called Restaurant Bootcamp. This is a one day symposium geared with seminars and networking - aimed at the startup and the existing restaurateur.
