Madboxx Designs is a small business that was established during the Covid pandemic. Initially, we had been using additive manufacturing as a hobby, but then decided to use our skills to help those in need. We created and donated face shields from 2 liter bottles, printed frames and elastic headbands, with approximately 300 of these being distributed to local hospitals and fire departments. As word spread, orders began to come in and our small workshop has since grown to include 27 printers, a laser cutter and soon, a CNC machine. Our dynamic team consists of just my wife and I at the moment, however, due to rapidly increasing demand, we may be adding staff soon.
