About the Business
I've been using Venetian Plaster in both my own homes and clients homes for 30 years and it's the most classic, beautiful, durable and timeless faux painting technique there is. It originates from an old Italian fresco formula which contains marble/lime dust and is applied with a trowel before being burnished to either a mirror finish that radiates light or left matte. It looks just like marble on your walls and is totally repairable - even if kids have drawn on the wall with permanent markers! You won't get this kind of repairability with wallpaper, paint or other faux techniques, as you'll be able to see the lap marks (darker sections of the wall).
I'm offering customized layering and blends that include metallics, suede, and multiple colors. My favorite is blending with suede, as it gives the wall the look of nubuck leather. You, your family and friends are sure to love it - it's so tactile that you won't be able to stop touching your walls! Home Depot used to sell Behr Venetian Plaster and Ralph Lauren Suede, though they no longer do. However, Lowe's does offer both, so I'm able to provide this special blend. I'll leave you a quart of the plaster to do your own repairs as well as the formula if you want to perfect the technique yourself.
