About the Business
My dad taught me the basics of pool maintenance from a young age. I was able to take apart and clean the filter for our above ground pool and started helping my neighbors with their pools too. After achieving Eagle Scout status, I spent my summers working at a Boy Scout camp taking care of an Olympic-sized pool with a 12 foot deep end. Unwinterizing and preparing the pool for use was part of the job, as well as cleaning the large filters located in a separate room.
I later worked as a swimming instructor at a US Naval base in Orlando, FL. My responsibilities included keeping the pool and gym equipment up to military standards.
When I became a pool owner, I was disappointed with the lack of professionalism of some pool service providers. So I decided to add pool and spa service to my existing BBQ grill service company, ECO Pools and more. We provide services for not just pools and spas, but also other outdoor equipment and features.
