Stephen Billings Landscape Architecture (SBLA) is a design firm based in Los Angeles. We strive to create meaningful experiences on each site through our investigations into the program, context and materiality of the project. Our approach is to recognize and celebrate the cultural and geological histories of the location, while also looking ahead to an optimistic future.
Our team consists of professionals with backgrounds in architecture, art and environmental sciences, bringing a unique perspective to landscape architecture. We begin the design process with an in-depth exploration of the site and conversations with the client and design team. We use drawing and analysis to uncover the potential of the project and how it can be expressed through thoughtful built form.
Sustainability is a priority for us, which is why we are always testing new technologies to ensure that sustainable practices are fully integrated and performative. We work to reduce our environmental footprint through methods such as treating stormwater onsite, using local materials, and selecting plant palettes responsibly.

I have contributed with other consumers with their room additions, new construction, custom homes, interior remodeling, commercial constructions,pools, and tenant improvements. It is my job as permit expediter to travel to different cities and make sure that all the permit process for each construction plans goes quick and smoothly to get building permits. Also, I created high definition 3D renderings of interior designs for residential and commercial building. I use 3D models, textures, and lighting to assemble specific furniture, decorative textures, and realistic lighting.
