About the Business
Anthony Hernandez and Valeria Ortiz, a married couple originally from Puerto Rico, moved to Texas in 2017. Anthony has been working since he was 14, and joined the US army when he was 24. Valeria, on the other hand, has been studying and working all of her life. When their first child, Antonella Hernandez Ortiz, was born, they learned that she had a single ventricle pulmonary atressia and a few other issues. Because of this, they had to move to San Antonio.
The parents have been working hard to give their daughter the best life they can. Their goal is to ensure Antonella's future. Valeria works as a Pre-K teacher in San Antonio, while Anthony works in a warehouse. To further secure Antonella's future, they decided to start their own business, Nellas Pool Cleaning. Anthony has three years of experience in pool cleaning and maintenance, so this is the perfect business for them. Valeria will handle the paperwork, while Anthony will be in charge of the cleaning.
