About the Business
My CPA firm specializes in providing personalized services to Local Business Owners in the fields of income taxes, monthly bookkeeping, accounting, and individual income tax preparation (Schedule C, 4562, City, Trimet, estimates, and S/C corporations & LLCs).
I provide business income tax filings for local PDX area owners, including 1040 and Schedule C, or form 1065, 1120, and 1120s filers. However, I do not have staff to help with simpler returns (such as W-2, Sch A/B/E).
At Garland R Taylor, CPA, PC, all services are provided one-on-one by an experienced CPA. I do not use bookkeepers or newbie CPAs - you get the attention you deserve.
Please note that my services are intensive and provided 1:1 by an experienced CPA year-round. As such, they work best for local full-time businesses looking for a solid accounting and tax resource throughout the year. Thus, my firm's tax services are not the cheapest around.
Due to web volume, "new client" appointments are limited. I cannot guarantee the timing or availability of services until tax data is 100% complete and you are accepted as a tax client.
Therefore, local business owners should email me to schedule a free short "meet & greet" or for an intense up to 1 hour business startup meeting ($150) on Zoom or in my office. In-office meetings are offered just two days per month for efficiency and only if you are fully vaccinated. Please note that first meetings are limited and by appointment only.

- I've practiced as a CPA for 20+ years right here in Portland. I have a national "big 8" CPA firm experience with Coopers & Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse Coopers) in their PDX emerging business services section and now provide small business & individual tax services one-on-one. I focus on helping local small business owners with their complex accounting & taxes. My CPA firms office is in Sellwood, on the Willamette, in the River Park Executive Center. This is a large 3 story brick building with fantastic receptionists, conference rooms, and river views, just North of the Sellwood bridge. My office is only 5 minutes from downtown, has an elevator & free off-street parking right in front of the building. Keeping everyone safe using virtual meetings on Zoom or Facetime.
