About the Business
Thomas Graphics Inc., a family-run business, has been providing commercial printing services in Austin since 1982. We are passionate about being environmentally friendly and proud to be part of the Austin community.
We offer a range of services, including offset, digital and large format printing, as well as fulfilment and mailing. Our offset printing capabilities consist of two Heidelberg presses – a 40” 5-colour press with a maximum sheet size of 28” x 40”, and a 29” 6-colour press with a maximum sheet size of 20” x 29” – and two Ryobi 3302s 2-colour presses with a maximum sheet size of 13” x 17”.
Our digital printing services include the Xerox iGen 3 full-colour digital press, with a maximum sheet size of 14.25” x 22.5”; the Xerox iGen 4 Matte full-colour digital press, with a maximum sheet size of 14.33” x 26”; and the Xerox Docutech 6180 B&W digital press, with a maximum sheet size of 11” x 17”.
For large-format printing, we provide HP Designer Latex full-colour printing with a maximum width of 60”; Roland Soljet Pro full-colour printing with a maximum width of 64”; and Roland Vinyl Cutter custom cutting with a maximum width of 64”.

- In 1982 at 24 years old, Bob Thomas began Thomas Graphics with borrowed time on a friend's printing press. Six months later, he had his own press and 400 square feet of shop space. By 1984 he had explained his company to a 4000 square foot warehouse, and reached sales of $400,000. Fast forward to the present day, where Bob's philosophy of quick turnaround, high quality, and personable service, has made Thomas Graphics an $11 million business, annually recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in Austin. Located in their own 28,000 square foot facility, Thomas Graphics boasts ten state-of-the-art presses (including digital pre-press), and a staff of 62. The company provides graphics services and printing from one color business cards for small businesses to six color annual reports for multinational corporations. And while Thomas Graphics continues to grow and add new clients, they still retain the loyalty of their longtime customers.
