Hassinger Daniels Mansion Bed And Breakfast

Hassinger Daniels Mansion Bed and Breakfast provides guests with the opportunity to be pampered in a luxurious Victorian Mansion. Whether it be for a romantic getaway, bridal group, honeymoon or business trip, this Inn has 10 beautiful guest rooms that each come equipped with an en-suite bathroom, cable TV, and maid service. Four of the rooms have a fully restored footed claw tub from 1898 that is so spacious it requires four shower curtains to cover it. Breakfast is served each morning in the form of a full hot cooked meal with complimentary cookies in the parlor. Free on-site parking is provided to guests, as well as access to high-speed wireless internet. Nearby, there are 26 eateries and evening entertainment venues, such as Highland Bar and Grill, Chez Fon Fon, Hot N Hot Fish Club, Bottega and Ocean's. The University of Alabama at Birmingham is just a few blocks away from the Inn.

Caswell House

The Daniel H. Caswell House is an elegant Victorian mansion located close to the state capitol, 6th Street and the University of Texas. It is the ideal venue for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, holiday and anniversary parties, fundraisers and business meetings. The house is owned and managed by Austin Jr. Forum, a women's volunteer service organization. It provides a spectacular setting for small to medium-sized weddings and events at a reasonable price. Brides are free to bring caterers of their own choice, regardless of whether they are on our recommended vendor list or not. We welcome visitors to tour our beautiful Victorian home during business hours. It is situated at the corner of West Avenue and 15th Street, with on-site parking. The Caswell House is featured in the National Register of Historic Places and recognized as a TX Historic Landmark. All profits from the rental of the Caswell House are reinvested in the Austin community through grants.
