Donworth Event Center
Donworth Hall is a beautiful event hall and gym located in San Francisco's Lakeside district. We share unlimited parking with Stonestown mall and are just a 3 minute walk from Muni's M line and 17 line. This new hall is approximately 20,000 square feet (gym and hall combined) and can accommodate up to 200 persons seated and 400 persons standing. Prices are extremely competitive and negotiable for all budgets. A few notable features of the Hall are: -Ample space to set up a dance floor -A Kitchen -A snack bar with refrigerator (great place to set up a bar). -Elevated stage with backstage prepping rooms -Elevator -Top level entrance with beautiful decor (a great area to set up signing in tables) Donworth Hall is perfect for all occasions, whether they be wedding receptions, banquets, fundraising, dances, birthdays, and everything else you can think of! We offer hourly rates and full-day packages. Bookings can start as early as 8:00 am and go until 11:00 pm. If you book until midnight, please note that all events end at 11:00 pm, bars close at 10:00 pm and clients have until Midnight to vacate the facility. Queen Bee's
Queen Bee's Art & Cultural Center is an incredible place in North Park that is devoted to supporting local artists, dancers, performers, and all members of the San Diego Community! Every week there are a number of different events. On Sunday nights, there are Bachata and Salsa lessons and dances from 7:30 PM till midnight. Monday night is Soulercize - Soul Line Dance Class. Tuesday night is Lyrical Exchange - Weekly Open Mic Night from 8:00 till 11:00. Wednesday night is East Coast Swing Dance Lessons and Dance 7:30 till Midnight. Finally, on Thursdays, there is Elevated Poetry Open Mic (on the first and third Thursdays). Queen Bee's is also available for private parties and corporate events.
