VFW Post 1263 Renton
The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S. is a congressional-chartered organization and the largest and oldest major war veterans group in the nation. Founded in 1899, VFW Post 1263 Renton is made up only of those who are eligible veterans and current members of the active, Guard and Reserve military forces. With over 1.6 million VFW and Auxiliary members located at more than 6,300 Posts worldwide, the nonprofit veterans service entity proclaims to be devoted to veterans' assistance, legislative advocacy, and military and community service projects.
The VFW has dedicated itself to supporting those who have served and their families, providing assistance and resources for members’ needs, advocating for veterans’ rights and benefits, and offering community service and volunteer opportunities. Their commitment makes them proud to proclaim "No one does more for Veterans" than the VFW.
