The Seattle Art Museum (SAM) offers a unique experience with its 35 international galleries, featuring more than 2,600 objects. The museum has something to offer everyone, ranging from the Australian Aboriginal Gallery, which is the only one of its kind in the US, to the Modern and Contemporary Galleries, home to an impressive Korean coat made of 40,000 dog tags. Those seeking a traditional experience can visit the 16th century Italian Room, while families can check out the Family Room, filled with toys and learning activities. SAM is open until 9 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, providing plenty of time to explore all the museum has to offer.
