About the Business
The Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse (PCCR) is a non-profit organization that encourages creativity, conservation, and community involvement through the reuse of items. We offer a shop where artists, teachers, and others can find materials for their projects. Additionally, we provide hands-on creative programming, both at our Center and in other areas.
Our shop offers an array of items for those looking for affordable art and craft supplies: fabric, yarn, sewing notions, office supplies, paper, business and industrial discards, surplus, and vintage curiosities. If you're planning an event that needs a creative activity with an environmental component, visit our website to view our program offerings and fill out our online scheduler for more information.
The PCCR shop is located in the same building as Construction Junction - be sure to check them out as well!

- In 2007, Faye Miller and Rachel Dennis founded a project called Creative Reuse Pittsburgh (CRP), with support from a Sprout Fund Seed Award. Inspired by the work of creative reuse organizations in other parts of the country, their goal was to establish a creative reuse center in Pittsburgh, Faye's hometown. In 2008, CRP became a project of the Pennsylvania Resources Council. In 2011 it moved from a small upstairs location within Construction Junction, to the new storefront it now occupies, and it became the Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse. In early 2013, PCCR became its own, independent non-profit organization.
