Nestldown

Nestldown Events Venue is a 30 acre site of lush gardens, ponds, small waterfalls, freshly cut lawns and an elegant barn. It also includes an outdoor chapel surrounded by California redwoods, making it an ideal spot for non-profit, business events and weddings. Our venue comes with the necessary table and chair rentals and a Nestldown events team and special events manager who can help coordinate on the day. We also partner with exceptional vendors to ensure the smooth running of each event. In addition, we only host one event per day, allowing full access to the train, bocce ball court, fantasy garden, cottage and other hidden enchanting features. To improve the experience for our guests, we recently completed a year and a half of enhancements. These include a brand new catering kitchen, upgraded entrance to the back of the barn and a beautiful building featuring luxury bathrooms. Furthermore, our property complies with ADA standards for accessibility so that all guests can enjoy the venue. If our golf-cart does not provide sufficient transportation, we will find alternatives to ensure that everyone has full access. Nestldown offers stunning views, rustic elegance, and unique amenities which come together to create a memorable environment for your guests. Visits to the property are by appointment only or as an invited guest to an event. Guests are advised to wear comfortable shoes as it is an outdoor garden landscape in the mountains.

East Bay Regional Park District Rental Facilities

We offer four rental facilities, located in different parks within the East Bay Regional Park District, for special events such as weddings, birthday parties, business meetings, retreats, and memorials. Our flexible reservation options range from fully catered events to completely DIY (do-it-yourself) depending on the facility and time block chosen. Tables and chairs are included. The Brazilian Room at Tilden Regional Park can accommodate up to 150 people for a seated reception indoors or up to 225 standing guests and features an outdoor patio for ceremonies and/or appetizer hour with views of the surrounding hills. The Temescal Beach House at Lake Temescal is suitable for up to 80 for a seated reception indoors (56 in the Fireside Room and 24 in the connecting Lakeview Meeting Room) or up to 130 standing guests. This facility includes an outdoor patio surrounded by a vertical garden and views of Lake Temescal from inside. Fern Cottage in Kennedy Grove offers space for up to 60 people for a seated reception indoors or up to 130 standing and has a private backyard with a covered back deck overlooking a landscaped lawn and garden. Shoreline Center at the MLK Jr. Regional Shoreline is suitable for up to 60 seated guests indoors or up to 125 standing and features a deck with views of the San Leandro Bay and East Bay hills. Our studio rental includes a variety of different props and furnishings, including two loveseats and a modern grey full-size sofa, a large white 6-10 person table and chairs, plants, luxury leather slingback chair, lamps, rugs, and one-of-a-kind chairs and stools. We also have additional furniture available upon request, such as kids chairs, bean bags, fabrics, blankets, and large black conference tables that seat 6-10. In addition to all of this, Daylight Creative Space also provides a range of equipment for use. The Abbott House

The Abbott House offers a wonderful venue for your wedding. With two to five staff assistants to help with setup, working the event and cleaning up afterwards, you can be assured that everything will run smoothly. The bride and groom suites come with champagne and fruit, and the first floor of the house can be used for a cocktail hour or tour. The formal banquet room is equipped with seven chandeliers, surround sound, a granite bar with an ice maker and refrigerator, and 13 floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the outdoors inside. Tables and chairs are provided, as well as floor-length white or ivory tablecloths for the banquet room. Outside, there is a private courtyard with 13 flower gardens, a sound system, a water fountain, an outside granite bar with a sink and refrigerator, a gas fire ring, a bandstand, a dance floor, a gazebo, and landscape lighting. Additionally, indoor and outdoor air conditioning restrooms are available. We also have a planner/coordinator on staff and the venue can be opened for rehearsals and photos with appropriate notice. We offer rental packages for 50 and 100 guests, with additional guests at a rate of $20 each. Rental includes time from 11am to 11pm, and all amenities. Outside vendors may also be brought in if desired. The Abbott House has a 1940 classic Packard with chauffeur available for rent. Claret Hall

Claret Hall is a great venue for all sorts of events and meetings, conveniently located in Clarksville, MD, near Columbia and with easy access from routes 32, 108 and I-95. The Banquet Room holds up to 95 people when seated for dining and allows access to a full kitchen and patio. If you're hosting a more casual event that requires some standing and sitting, the maximum capacity doubles to 130. Tables and chairs will be ready to go based on your floor plan in advance of your arrival. The Meeting Room, a separate building nearby, provides a self-serve casual atmosphere ideal for kid's parties or classes at an affordable rate. You can arrange the tables and chairs however you like, or hire our staff to do it for an additional fee. The Meeting Room also has a small kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and sink. Instructors can take advantage of special rates for hosting classes or seminars at Claret Hall. You can choose your own caterer or bring your own food.

Skylofts Gallery

Skylofts Gallery specializes in intimate private events for parties of 100 people or less. We offer our event venues for rent to the local community, and recently have hosted birthday parties, weddings, baby showers, fashion shows, play rehearsals, photo shoots, and bridal showers. Our lofts are available for hourly rental, ranging from $105 to $150 per hour with a four hour minimum event rental on weekends. We also provide one hour set up and 1/2 hour clean up at no additional cost. For an additional fee, we have special features and packages available. These include a custom graphics entrance package, VIP red ropes and red carpet, digital surround-sound audio system, premium lights package, fog machine, custom tickets, fliers, and wristbands, as well as tables and chairs. Come visit us during our Open House hours! Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays between 4 and 6 pm and we can help you pick a loft and create a custom package for your event.
