John and Cheryl Wall have recently returned to Marysville and are the proud new owners of Checkered Flag Express Lube and Car Wash. John graduated from Marysville High School in 1982 and has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Ohio Dominican University. He has spent the past 12 years at Ashland/Valvoline where he was a territory and business development manager, covering Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, and the Texas Panhandle. Most recently, he was in Orlando covering Florida from coast to coast between Orlando and Gainesville. Cheryl is from Stoutsville and graduated from Amanda-Clearcreek. She has a Bachelor's degree in Education from Ohio University and has worked as an Account Manager with Frank Gates Service Company and as a teacher with LEADS Headstart. Their son Ryan is also a Marysville Schools alumnus and is a certified mechanic/lube tech. The family also includes Emily (Josh) Brown of Columbus, Indiana, as well as Adam and Hannah.Checkered Flag Express Lube offers automotive services for all kinds of domestic and foreign vehicles such as oil changes, transmission fluid changes, radiator fluid exchanges, differential fluid changes, filters, tune-ups, brake services, and more.
