About the Business
The Russell Industrial Center is quickly becoming a hub of creativity and small business activity in the Midwest. With its 125 commercial tenants, it has become an ideal spot for artists, architects, painters, clothing designers, glass blowers, wood crafters, metal sculptors, and graphic designers to come together, network, and show off their works. The Center hosts the People's Arts Festival annually in September, as well as other art exhibitions. Collaboration with filmmakers and photographers, along with involvement from local college classes, have also become part of the R.I.C. experience. To top it off, the Center is also proud to be the home of two Detroit-based galleries, Detroit Industrial Projects (DIP) The Cave, ORG, and MONA. For an authentic taste of Detroit, visiting the Russell Industrial Center is a must.
